Integrative Clearing Technology
Contents of the Level 3 EFT Workshop
The following is an outline of what is covered on the advanced Level 3 EFT Workshop. The techniques introduced, learnt and experienced on this workshop make up an extremely useful and versatile "clearing toolkit". This workshop is essentially a practitioner course for both lay (non-professional) or professional practitioners but it is also quite suitable for those who are really serious about their own personal growth. It is the next step after the Level 2 EFT Workshop (previously known as the Foundational EFT Workshop) OR an equivalent skill set. The advanced EFT skills listed below are the most important parts of this workshop. Please note that the contents of this workshop are under continuous review and refinement and may change slightly from time to time.
Essential EFT Skills
This part of the workshop reviews the essential EFT skills and strategies needed to get consistent results with EFT and which are the set of skills that the advanced EFT skills are built on. These include:
- the most effective and proven strategies for bringing up and identifying the various "aspects" or components of an issue;
- how to locate underlying emotionally painful events with greater precision;
- four primary ways to use EFT to work with and resolve painful experiences (such as upsets and trauma);
- several simple actions that significantly improve our success rate;
- what to do when EFT is slow or doesn’t work;
- educating clients to help them get the most from EFT (when being a client or when self-applying EFT);
- practical ways of applying an understanding of the role of consciousness in emotional and spiritual healing, and
- learn the Tap and Watch technique (where you watch the feeling or sensation while tapping).
Advanced EFT Skills
The advanced EFT skills are the major part of this workshop. This includes:
- artful strategies to get to the Core Issues that underlie “presenting” problems;
- the art of "zeroing in" on Underlying Issues;
- the value and uses of Continuous Tapping;
- when and how to use Imaginary Incidents (such as giving a presentation in the near future);
- the Holistic Method (which shows that EFT works at all levels);
- the Volcano Technique for dealing with suppressed anger;
- tapping on Positives and Opposites;
- using and observing the changes in Mental Imagery while tapping;
- the use of Intuition when doing EFT;
- the use of Exaggeration and Humour;
- how to use EFT with Performance Issues;
- the value and use of Reframing in EFT sessions;
- the importance of thoroughly Testing our work and many ways to do it;
- how to open the door to resolving Highly Resistant Issues (such as doggedly persistent issues, fears or phobias);
- approaches to get to the bottom of and resolve serious Polarity Reversal;
- how to use EFT to work with and own Disowned Parts of ourselves;
- how to use EFT to work with and heal a Wounded Inner Child;
- why EFT and the Law of Attraction are best friends; plus,
- advanced methods for thoroughly resolving the lasting effects of heavy-duty Traumatic Events.
- And more!
Facilitator Skills
- The importance of developing some basic facilitator/counsellor skills.
- What to do if a client becomes seriously overwhelmed (i.e. has "an abreaction") during a session.
Complementary Energy Techniques
- Two other energy techniques that complement EFT are learnt on this workshop: An introduction to the Describing Technique and the Permeation Technique. The Emotional Freedom Techniques (plural), along with the Describing Technique and the Permeation Technique, make up a very powerful and synergistic set of tools. The Describing and Permeation techniques can be used individually or in combination with EFT. Each of them assists the client to observe, accept and be present with the current feeling, emotion or similar.
- You will also learn the "Describe and Tap technique" (where EFT and Describing are used together).
Belief Clearing
- Understanding beliefs: Where beliefs come from; the roles of beliefs in our lives; the Evaluation process (how we evaluate ideas, how ideas become beliefs); the Response Cycle; the relationship between Beliefs and Emotions/Feelings; the connection between our Beliefs and our Experiences in life.
- Using EFT to work with beliefs: effective ways to locate limiting or negative beliefs that are causing or contributing to a personal problem; how to trace where a particular belief originally came from and then resolve that (its source, often a particular event); how to use EFT to eliminate attachment to a negative belief and replace it with a more useful (i.e. positive) belief, where appropriate; and how to help a client examine a belief’s "benefits" or payoffs (i.e. how it serves him/her) when this is appropriate (i.e. when he/she is hanging on to it).
Putting it All Together
- This section reviews the tools and complementary tools which comprise the "EFT clearing toolkit" and how they can be used in a session to work on a client's personal problems; this is discussed with the purpose of being able to selectively use and integrate the techniques appropiately during a session.
EFT Clearing Toolkit
The EFT clearing toolkit consists of the various EFT techniques, Belief Clearing (including a specialized use of EFT) plus the complementary Describing and Permeation Techniques. These tools work extremely well together.
One of the purposes of this workshop is to teach how these EFT tools can be systematically used to approach, work with and resolve personal issues by using "the right tool at the right time" and having a range of effective tools to choose from. EFT is the brilliant, amazing and golden center-piece of this toolkit.
The clearing toolkit can also be used to help clear the things that come up or are triggered (such as negative thoughts, emotions, feelings, sensations, painful memories, impulses, etc.) while doing another technique or using another modality or that manifest while studying something or moving out of one's comfort zone, etc.
