Date and Time: The next advertized Introductory EFT Workshop (Level 1) will be held on Sunday, the 21st of February 2010 (1:15 PM to 5:30 PM). If you can't attend on that date, let Peter know as sometimes (unadvertized) small group workshops are also held from time to time.
Note: This introductory workshop has been streamlined (and reduced to just over 4 hours) to make it more accessible for more people. This was trialled in September and went well. However, it will still include all the important content and practice as previously covered in the earlier 6 hour workshop and with the full documentation.
New VENUE: This workshop will be held at 218 Carr Place, Leederville, which is near the Leederville train station and very close to where Oxford Street and Newcastle Street meet.
Cost: Now just $110 for the newly refined 4-hour workshop. Payments may be made by cheque or cash and also by Visa or Mastercard. There is a $55 discount if you have already had a private one-on-one EFT session with Peter! If you do this workshop and later have a private session with Peter, you get a $55 discount off the price of the first session.

The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a remarkable emotional healing technique that can be used to eliminate or at least noticeably reduce the intensity of negative emotions, feelings and beliefs as well as resolve traumatic memories. More often than not, this occurs quite rapidly. EFT is known as "the tapping technique" as it includes (amongst other things) tapping on selected acupressure points while focusing attention on a particular negative emotion or feeling.
EFT has a wide range of applications and uses. The official EFT web site states that:
"Based on impressive new discoveries involving the body's subtle energies, EFT has been proven clinically effective (over 80%) for Trauma, Abuse, Stress, Anxiety, Fears, Phobias, Depression, Grief, Addictive Cravings, Children's Issues and hundreds of physical symptoms including headaches, body pains and breathing difficulties. It is the missing piece to the healing puzzle. Often works where nothing else will."
The Emotional Freedom Technique is the best known and most widely used technique of a group of methods commonly called the "energy therapies". EFT was developed by Gary Craig in the mid-nineties. It is based on and evolved from an earlier technique called Thought Field Therapy (TFT) which was developed by Dr. Roger Callahan. EFT is similar to Thought Field Therapy in many ways but it is MUCH easier to learn and apply, is FAR more flexible (in the way it can be used or what it can be used for) and is EXCEPTIONALLY effective. I am trained in and use both EFT and TFT (along with two other energy techniques) but I mainly use EFT due to its amazing flexibility and effectiveness.
The basic EFT tapping technique is fairly simple and can be learnt in less than an hour, and it can be easily self-applied. It is an amazingly effective tool that you can use to help dissolve emotional pain and it can also be used to improve your relationships, enhance performance and achieve your goals. Having learnt the basic EFT tapping technique (which is extremely useful in itself), there is more to learn about how to use it for certain types of issues and challenges.
This Level 1 workshop introduces EFT and explores its fundamentals. Participants will learn the background of the EFT tapping technique, its theory and why it works, and exactly how the full EFT tapping technique is done (with documentation). There will also be a live demonstration of EFT. Attendees will get to do and experience EFT personally a number of times.
You will learn how to do EFT and get results and you will have printed reference material to help you along. There will be some essential information on how to approach a complex problem (that may have a number of contributing factors or multiple layers) and you will also be introduced to a simple but amazingly effective EFT technique for resolving painful memories. It is the beginning of a wonderful adventure and you will have this fantastic tool for the rest of your life.
The next step (following this introductory workshop or an equivalent introduction to EFT) is the two-day Level 2 EFT Workshop. The Level 2 Workshop teaches vital strategies and additional EFT techniques which can be used to "take apart" and resolve complex emotional issues, use EFT to heal painful experiences, use EFT to expand your comfort zones, self-apply EFT more successfully, and much more. It teaches the important skills and strategies needed to get the most from this amazing technique and progressively takes your EFT skills to higher levels. The Level 2 workshop price is $450. For more details about this workshop, click right here.
Notice: While EFT has produced remarkable results, it is still considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take responsibility for their use of it. This workshop is essentially an educational activity and is not intended as a therapy session or as a substitute for the recommendations of health-care providers.
Registration: Phone (08) 9487 8363 (any day) or email me for more information or to reserve your place (as numbers are limited).
